A SAFER AMERICA
The failed foreign policy of this President has made America less safe. In an increasingly dangerous world, we need principled leadership in Washington that will hold the executive branch accountable for it’s failures.
GROWING OUR ECONOMY
We are stuck in a so-called recovery, during which this administration has tried to convince us that a 2 percent growth rate is the new normal.
GOVERNMENT THAT SERVES THE PEOPLE
The miracle of our constitutional government is that power flows from the people and that government has only the power that we the people grant it.
I grew up in a small farming community where I was taught to value hard work and family more than anything else.
At 17, I joined the Navy. After basic training and intelligence school, I accepted assignments in Kosovo, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and after 9/11 I had the privilege of leading intelligence efforts to support combat operations in Afghanistan. Later assignments brought me to the Pentagon, where I was able to finish my bachelor’s at Georgetown University at night. My final tour of duty was in Iraq, where I served as an adviser to the Iraqi National Police.
